When I started building SaveVex, I had one simple goal: create a free, private file toolkit that anyone could use, anywhere in the world, without worrying about sign-ups, hidden costs, or their data being sold. I'm proud to say we've done that. In a few short months, SaveVex has grown to over 50 tools — PDF editing, image processing, video conversion, audio tools, text utilities, and more. The Story Behind SaveVex

I built SaveVex because I was tired of the alternatives. You know the ones — the sites that promise a free PDF compressor, then watermark your document. The converters that work great for two files, then lock you behind a paywall. The "free" tools that quietly upload your files to who-knows-where and probably sell your data to who-knows-who.

I thought: browsers are powerful now. WebAssembly, the File API, modern JavaScript engines — they can handle real work locally. So why isn't anyone building tools that respect both your privacy and your wallet?

That question turned into SaveVex. What started as a handful of PDF tools grew into something much bigger. Image compression, video trimming, audio conversion, QR code generation, password generators, hash tools — the list kept growing because users kept asking for more. And honestly? I loved building it.

But here's the reality: every tool on SaveVex runs entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device. This is the right way to build software — but it also means we can't show ads while you're processing files (we don't want to interrupt your workflow), and we don't sell your data (we never have, and we never will). Those are two of the most common ways free tools make money, and we've chosen neither.
